Innovation of natural blue color from Khokhodo seeds for the Fashion design and Product Design Souvenirs to international markets

       Blue is color of Friday and it represents birthday’s color of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. She is a conservator and supporter of Thai Arts and Crafts such as Thai Textile, as well-known in the world. RMUTL realized the royal grace of Her Majesty, so we create a course to preserve and develop Thai Textile by bringing Khokhodo seed; it is blue color natural material. It was applied to product design souvenirs and Creative Economy fashions. Currently, this idea is accepted from the governments around the world. It is important machinery to promote economy in the future. In addition, It is also new economic form to open for creative people to be an important part of this system. The government has policy to support Arts and Crafts, unique community products and effective local production.

        RMUTL realized that this innovation is able to create business and support the people in the same time. RMUTL along with Pha Bong SAO, Mae Hong Son brought this innovation to share knowledge and focus on Folk Wisdom identity development and Eco-friendly. Different goods were useful for Commercial and Public to be the foundational community economy development.

        This innovation aims to share works of 115 people from 7 districts in Mae Hong Son include the target group such as OTOP entrepreneurs, community enterprise, members under the Projects Initiated by Her Majesty Queen and representative group from any divisions.  This event is going to organize on 28th -30thJune, 2016 at Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers Meeting room in Pa Pu village, Pha Bong Sub-District, Mueang District, Mae Hong Son province. Works of this innovation will be shown up in Lanna Expo on June, 30th - July, 6th in 2016 at Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
