Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna continues entreprenureal creation (SME) start-up group project for Economic Development

Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) launched creative and innovation enterprise creation (Start up) Project which coperated with Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP)‚  Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME Bank) and The federation of Thai SME. This project aims to assist 10‚000 innovative small and medium enterprises around Thailand within 3 years (2016-2019). The target are  new generation and those SME that start operating less than 3 years by appling incubationprogram which consists of  throritical‚ practical and financial assitant. Assoc. Prof. Pd.D. Numyoot Songthanapitak‚ Pressident of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna said that “This was a continually project from 2015 by 9 Rajamangala University of technology that signed MOU with creative and innovation enterprises (Start-Up)‚ (OSMEP)‚ (SME Bank) and The federation of Thai SME which General (GEN)‚ Prayuth Chanocha‚ Prime minister who was a committee in  MOU signing ceremony. To accomplish the objective in 2019‚ OSMEP cooperated with private sectors to assist new small and medium enterprises in o order to contribute income‚ creating jobs and economic sustainable. RMUTL would responsible for 1‚200 enterprises in upper Northern part and 800 enterprises from lower Northern part. Incubation process would cover up to 6 months from March to October” Creative and Innovative enterprises project (Start up) will cover manufacturing‚ trading‚ services and Agro processing and all related business for enhancing competition capability which will develop Thai economy stability. All 9 RMUT have place‚ equipment‚ and staffs form vary fields which will be ready to help enterprises by integrating knowledge and research to develop products services. In addition SME Bank will assists enterprise with financial loan‚ identify the right channel and markets‚ and encouraging enterprises to resister as corporation and apply for membership of OSMEP. Since there are some limitations in financial loan for new entrepreneurs‚ therefore SME Bank and OSMEP will help to classify enterprises to join this project.
