Faculty of Engineering had organized the develop about potential education network on Mentors Transportation Systems. They promote the development about professional trainers with basic knowledge of industrial technicians to have the knowledge, expertise and basic skills of the rail transport system, along with the establishment of the Northern Rail Transport Operation and Maintenance Center. There were 30 participants in the event, including people from RMUTL and Institution of education group.
The project was held from July 16 – 17, 2020. On July 16, 2020, Aj. Chacris Chuwutyakron, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Engineering is a special lecturer on "Rail Transportation Operations in the past and future then Plans and Progress of Construction of Bangkok-Chiang Khong", and honored by Second Lieutenant Charaspong Paiyarat, Engineer of Maintenance in Lampang, Northern Maintenance Center.
After the lecture will be a workshop on subject: Prototype Classroom and Laboratory Signal Mandate System, Rail System Material, Testing Laboratory Non-destructive rail damage inspection. The speakers will be a team of RMUTL Led by Assistant Professor Apichart Chai Klang with his team. In addition to the special lectures, there is also a visit to the rail transport laboratory of RMUTL too.
On July 17, 2020, the participants will attend a discussion at Chiang Mai Railway Station on the topic of wheel system and locomotive by Mr. Sorapong Chaengmuang, Assistant Inspector of Lampang Locomotive District, Unit 10, Chiang Mai, along with Mr. Nantawat Chayklay, technical staff, Lampang Locomotive, Unit 10, Chiang Mai, and Mr. Tosapol Rangma, Technical Staff, Lampang Locomotive, Unit 10, Chiang Mai.
After the training and study, the participants will receive the certificate from Mr. Sorapong Chaengmuang, Assistant Inspector of Lampang Locomotive District, Unit 10, Chiang Mai.
