The professors of Tourism and English for International Communication majors, Faculty of Administration and Liberal Arts, RMUTL Lam Pang were lecturer of local guide project to welcome AEC at Rachawadee meeting room, Lam Pang city Municipality and old town attractions on 23th - 24th June, 2016.
Aj. Pongthep Paiboolwangcharoen, head of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Administration and Liberal Arts, RMUTL Lam Pang said that “this project aims to support AEC and produce local guides who know and can describe important cultural attraction knowledge in both of Thai and English. In addition, to teach those personals are moral and Service Mind to promote tourism of Lam Pang”.
At the present, RMUTL Lam Pang is local Educational Institute that teach in tourism and English for International Communication. Moreover, Service for Community is one duty of university. The attendees can bring all knowledge to apply in daily life. Aj.Phairot Chaimuangchun, master of Tourism major said that “Lam Pang cultural tourism as popular among tourists which depends on number of Thai and foreign tourists of Lam Pang. Therefore, Guide should develop their skills to give their beneficial knowledge for tourists.
The lecturers provided knowledge about route and map of cultural heritage in the old town attractions, hospitality, Psychology of service, the foundational English communication and practice to give historical information and the important cultural attractions in the old town (English). The attendees were very interested in this training, and we would like to thank all divisions which realize the importance of this project as the main power of famous tourism in Lam Pang.
In this event there were a lot of lecturers such as Aj.Pongthep Paiboolwangcharoen, Aj.Phairot Chaimuangchun, Aj.Pornpimon Ariyawong, Aj.Piangkarn Namwong, Aj.Wanjilin Janwiroj, Aj.Supaporn Nukooltoraprakit, Aj.Nongnuch Tangjaicharoensup, Aj.Benya Inwan, and Aj. Sirikwan Panyarean. There were 55 attendees in this project.
