RMUTL Mechatronics team wins “World Skills Asian Hanoi 2014 Award” in Robotic competition at Vietnam

                The 10th ASEAN Skills Competition was taken place in Hanoi in October 2014, featuring 23 occupational skills and two performance skills. The event aims to realize Asian’s integration policy, enhance solidarity, cooperation, and friendship among ASEAN countries. It also boosts vocational training and young people’s professional skills. In this year, Thailand teams won 6 awards of 1st Place Golden Metal in many skill areas such as cooking, restaurant service, hairdressing, construction, mechanical engineering design etc. For the mechatronic area by more than 21 careers attempted to Robotics Competition, the Thai teams also won 7 awards of 1st Place Golden Metal which one of them won by the RMUTL student team. Consisting of 2 competitors from Electronic Engineering students from RMUTL, Chiangmai, went on to win top Golden Metal awards at the mechatronic robotic competition out of the 7 teams from the Southeast: Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippine, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia and Thai. “Sweeping first place in the two highest awards given at the regional championship is a result of the consistent growth in knowledge and skill among these two teams and the dedicated hard work these students put into the program,” said Jakkapong Meansang. This team will represent our country in the completion of The 43th World Skills competition 2015 at São Paulo, Brazil on 5-19 August 2015 Let’s all cheer RMUTL students to win the prize in The World Skills competition 2015 at São Paulo, Brazil on 5-19 August 2015
