RMUTL held the RMUTL Thai Traditional New Year event 2019. Assoc. Prof. Seensiri Sa-Ngajit, acting for President of RMUTL, led the RMUTL executives, staffs, and students to worship Sakyamuni statue in the morning.
There were Laab competition and Som Tam Leela in the afternoon. These events aimed to inherit the local foods culture. There were a lot of agents from many departments in RMUTL as participants. The Laab competition result showed that Sapa Saped team from Community Technology Transfer Center was the winner in Laab competition. The 1st runner-up was Laab Song Kwae team from Phitsanulok Campus. The 2nd runner-up was Laab Sab e Lee Sak Khee Mae Ping team and honorable mention award was given to Laab Tak Khon Ra Haeng team from Tak Campus.
Som Tam Lee la result showed that LA Nua Sab from RMUTL Liberal Arts major. The 1st runner-up was Oh Bak Guay Ted from Public Relations Department. The 2nd runner-up was Som Tam Sao Bo Ri Harn from faculty of BALA and honorable mention award was given to Som Tam Song Kwae team from Phitsanulok Campus.
Assoc. Prof. Seensiri Sa-Ngajit, acting for President of RMUTL, executives, staffs, and students joined Pouring water on the hands of revered elders and President of RMUTL in the evening. Acting for the President of RMUTL said the apology and gave the Lanna Pouring Water tools. The revered elder blessed to the participants. After that, the participants poured water on the hands of revered elders at RMUTL President Office building yard on April 25th, 2019.
