Mae Wang Rak Thin support career disable parents..
Thailand society has limited knowledge towards disabled people needs which impact on the on their social welfare management such as education, environment, transportation and many other areas. Moreover, it affects to employment of disable people in service business and make they live difficulty. 

Group of Students called “ Mae Wang Rak Thin”  Rajamangala University of Technology Lampang campus had an idea to create job for disable people on mushroom farming to generate their income under the project of career development by mushroom farming of disable parents in Tumbol San Muang Yao, Aumphur Hangchat, Lampang Proivince to increase income among group members for economic sustainable in community.

Mrs Suchada Tichutho, students of  plant science, Faculty of science and technology of agriculture, who was project leader said “ according to our observation, there were both intelligence and physically disabled people who were between 20-22 years old which they needed special care from their parent and could not work outside. In addition, there were problems from career support on mush room farming such as high cost and low productivity so many of them had given up. Therefore, members of disable people need “Mae Wang Rak Thin” to support and knowledge transfer on mushroom farming management and its supply chain which could produce mushroom by themself”.

As one of University mission on academic service this project had cooperative between students from Faculty science and technology in agriculture, Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, and  Faculty of engineering to adopt local wisdom based on parent of disabled needs . “Change home to be  school, change mother to be teacher” project enable parent to have more time to taking care of disabled kid closely, parent and disabled kids experience in learning together, as well as generating income for  the household.

Career development by mushroom farming of parents of disabled people in Tumbol San Muang Yao, Aumphur Hangchat, Lampang Proivince to increase income was cooperated with Omsin Yuwapat Rakthin project to transfer knowledge from the upstream to the downstream process, plan for mushroom production planning to fulfill market demand and enable them to sell all year round, to side visiting standard mushroom farming, improve plantation and facilities. Participants were 20 parents of disabled people. This project launched by 22 and having Lecturer Chaitawat Jarutat,  Associate Dean for academic and student affairs,  Faculty of Science and Technology of Agriculture, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and Associate Professor, Nuansi Jarutat, Head of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Business Administration Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Lampang campus as project advisors.
